  I.   this is a mutuals only blog is for mike crew of the magnus archives. as he is an extremely minor background character, my main focus tends to be exploring further development with an alternative universe a few years in the making ! i do also have a canon compliant verse by request for those who are interested !

  II.   i don't currently have a specific dni, largely because i'm lazy and tend to just block on case by case basis if i do not vibe with something and move on. don't ship gross things, don't be a racist / bigoted / transphobic / boot licking / hate stirring / whitewashing etc etc piece of trash and i won't take you out like one. <3 i block liberally and impersonally, and encourage the same.

  III.   like most, my blog is not my top priority in my life. i have two jobs and spendtime writing on discord which you are welcome to ask for if we are mutuals. over time, tumblr has just become harder for me to use so i am more sparing on my blogs themselves.

  IV.   i tag triggers as trigger cw and will tend to do so when in doubt just to be safe. some themes that occur in some regularity on this blog include but are not limited to : body horror, existentialism, unreality and mentions of dysphoria. due to the nature of mike's storyline he also deals with psychosis including hallucinations, paranoia, mania, and delusions that i will try to portray as accurately and respectfully as i am able. i also write him as a sufferer of chronic pain, which is more a note than a warning. i write some from experience, but not all, and am always learning and open to constructive feedback.

pulled from his shallow grave with dirt and blood clotting his lungs has made him, in the most gentle sense of the word, inhospitable to others. no longer able to sleep or feel comfortable in his home, most of his time is spent drifting from place to place, and defending what little peace he has left with far less restraint.

it is a storm without borders that twists and spirals, leaving nothing in its wake but wind-lashed dirt and lightning-burned trees. somewhere beneath the rumbling of dissonant thunder and flickering light you are sure you can hear screaming, bodies tossed through the churning black blue purple skies head over heel knowing only the helpless terror of an endless fall. he calls it home, as much as anywhere else.

despondent and powerless without the dread fears to serve, mike is forced to go into hiding alongside other former avatars or risk becoming another public execution at the hands of the angry masses whose lives he has tormented and torn apart. he can no longer remember what it was like to be human, but if nothing else, there is plenty of time to learn.
